THE GPA DIFFERENCE

How will GPA support my pursuit for this pathway?

For students who are considering applying to an art program, a creative portfolio (required for submission from colleges in visual arts and design) is most often the deciding factor in whether they are accepted. We work with students to explore multiple mediums and have students partner and collaborate with other designers. We offer students a hard skills foundation from which to create and innovate.

Students pursuing the Visual Arts & Design pathway can take design courses such as Digital Design & Branding.

COLLEGES & PROGRAMS

Where should I study?

GPA alumni have earned acceptance to more traditional Art & Design Schools such as Cal Arts, MICA, RISD, Art Center, and Otis. Additionally, new and innovative programs such as USC’s Iovine & Young and Media Arts + Practice, Drexel’s Interactive Digital Media, and Northeastern’s Design and Computer Science. This area in higher education is exploding and there are no programs every year.

University of Southern California, home of the interdisciplinary Media, Arts, and Practice program.
